For those that have tried the Northrend Beasts in heroic 25man, you will know that the encounter has some quite interesting game mechanics where the random number generator plays a part to make life quite horrible.

Tanks being insta-gibbed for 50k within half a second, worms emerging in awkawrd positions next to slime pools, and of course the horrible disconnect debuff that randomly affects raid members.

Nonetheless, battling on through these adversities the Borderland Legion took down the heroic beasts in 25man this week. The kill itself was fairly unique, having taken icehowl down to around 60k of health with all raid members alive he ran off to the center of the room to do his massive crash, and enraged half a second before the crash came, resulting in 23 raid members exploding simultaneously, leaving one prot paladin and a spirit of redemption alive for the stun period to keep the dots ticking and finish him off. Probably the most tightest first kill we've seen since the Brutallus 1% enrages back in Sunwell.

With the "gatekeeper" heroic beasts now down, Jaraxxus is the next boss to face the Borderland Legion - lets see how well he fares!
