Can the legion overcome the dastardly Professor Putricide and his evil concoctions, throwing out more slime and ooze than a field full of Tauren with swine flu ? You betcha.
We quite enjoyed the professor in the normal 25 man - it had just about the right level of difficulty for the second end of wing boss. For those that have seen the fight, there's a fair amount of, shall we say "slimey stuff that kills you", to avoid as well as a fairly decent DPS race in the last phase of the fight that - at least for now - ends up being quite a close run thing. We're quite big fans of futurama so the tribute to professor farnsworth and his "good news everyone" salutation would really only have been topped by a benderism like "kiss my shiny metal ass" - although that may well result in some lawer enrages.
In any case, we're pleased to say that a few weeks ago we were able to put a stop to the professors experimentations on 31st of January in the 25man normal version of the dungeon as was fortold in the last news update. Drops were:
[Vanquisher's Mark of Sanctification] - Ragemane [Vanquisher's Mark of Sanctification] - Delirius [Last Word] - Fèanor
Bloodied-prince council

Shortly after the professor was despatched, we moved on to the blood prince council. This rather recycled bunch of undead was in truth fairly easy to despatch after the rather more hard end of wing bosses, with no DPS race per se and survivability being the order of the day. We felt that the trash leading up to the boss was probably harder than the boss itself (curse those stunny-stabby-stabby technicians). Therefore unfortunately for these not-so-fresh princes they've been relegated to trash status:
Drops were:
[Crypt Keeper's Bracers] - Xianyu [Taldaram's Plated Fists] - Fèanor [Cryptmaker] - Ragno
Next up in our 25man excursions we have both the "vampire chick" who perhaps has been reading one too many twilight novels, and the valitharia dreamwalker healing extravaganza. Once the ridiculous lag that is plaguing Runetotem subsides (probably when the valentines event ends) we should be able to make some progress - until then we're in the same position as everyone else - mostly looking at a loading screen and making a cup of tea between spell and ability casts!
Thank you Fèanor for the pictures and Dishmop for the text.
